About Europa Donna Finland
The Finnish Breast Cancer Association – Europa Donna Finland ry is a non-profit organization founded on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2005. Providing peer support to breast cancer patients is the most important role of our association. Every woman should have the opportunity to share her own experiences, feelings and thoughts with others who have also been diagnosed with breast cancer.
We also work to increase awareness of breast cancer, improve the quality of life for patients and survivors, advocate for equal treatment and care for all breast cancer patients, and collaborate with other national and international cancer organizations, such as The European Breast Cancer Coalition.
We offer face-to-face peer support, peer support training, lectures, seminars, and courses, and we organize various activities such as art therapy and sports weekends.
